Modules

Manifest module [1]
The Shipping Agent can use the manifest module to enter or transmit cargo manifest data electronically (sea, air, road or rail transport). The Agent may amend the manifest or request for package destruction. He connects remotely via the web using an authentication system.
Declaration module [2]
The declaration module is used to capture entry data. The main customs regimes are covered by this module which also enables additional inputs, amendments and cancellations.
Customs module [3, 4]
Customs officers can receive declarations and manifests for processing via this module. It has several advanced management and control functions for customs operations. These functions cover allocation of entries, inspection channels, including the various customs regimes, calculation of duties and outputs management.
Duty and tax payment module [5]
Duty and tax payments are recorded in this module. It manages the bonds, monitors and registers payment. This module may be installed in a unit away from the Customs Station, whenever collections are outsourced.

Additional modules

Risk Analysis
In facilitation logic, risk analysis is a major component in a customs IT system. This module controls the path of imported goods through selectivity criteria. The criteria can be local or general. The data sources feeding the system are agreed with the customer according to their relevance and topicality.
Value File
The module consists of a valuation database fed by data from previous transactions. Other data sources can also be attached to meet customer requirements. It provides Customs officers with a reference value and a means of detecting inconsistencies.
Statistics
This module produces accurate customs statistics with advance search criteria. It can be deployed on the intranet with wider attributions and in Internet mode with consolidation to respect the confidentiality of information.
Tariff (LEUK)
Advanced searches into customs tariffs and customs statutory instruments are possible via this module. It can be available in intranet or extranet mode. It is a powerful information and simulation tool. This module has been developed by IDEE, a GAINDE 2000 partner.
Electronic payment
GAINDE 2000 has developed an electronic payment platform for customs duties and taxes in partnership with Paybox Services (www.paybox.com). This platform is linked to the Trade X payment module. It can also operate as a stand-alone portal.
Management of BW
Customs may use this module to monitor all goods in bonded warehouses (BW) in real time. Goods inwards and outwards are registered in real time and fill and strike off registers. This module controls the location of goods within the bonded warehouses, with the view to making inspection and identification work easier.
